Dowling Shield Trials 2025/26.

 

Melbourne University Cricket Club is delighted to announce we will be running trials for players to be considered for selection in our 2025/26 Dowling Academy. Participation in the selection trails will be via invite only. As per Cricket Victoria rules, to be eligible to be selected in Dowling Academies in 2025/26 players will need to be born between 1 September 2009 and before 31 August 2011.

 

​​​The trials will be conducted as per the dates, times and venues set out below:

Saturday 31st May & Saturday 7th June

​

1pm-3pm             Cutting Edge Cricket Bundoora

​​​

Saturday 14th June

​

1pm-3pm             Melbourne University Hockey Pitch​​

MUCC has been fortunate enough to recently support players like Fawad Ahmed, Peter Hatzoglou, Doug Warren & Wes Agar as they progress to play professionally in the BBL, Marsh Cup, Sheffield Shield and for Australia.
