2018/19 Recap/Award winners

2018/19 was a successful year for MUCC. A 2nd and 3rd XI premiership in premier cricket and Division 2 premiership in the MCC Club XI Competition. (SCORECARDS: 2nd XI/3rdXI/MCC Div2)

The accolades kept on coming with Steven Reid (38 wickets) being the competitions leading wicket taker in the regular season. Steven deservedly was named in the Premier Cricket Team of the Season for season 18/19.

Tom Rogers (236 runs) being the leading runs scorer in the regular season of the new T20 Super Slam competition.

On MUCCs presentation night, the following award winners were acknowledged:

Batting Award – Jarrod Martignago 362 runs @ 36.2 (4 x 50’s)

Bowling Award – Steven Reid 38 wickets @18.97avg

2nd XI

Batting Award – Michael Clements 565 runs @ 56.5

Bowling Award – Mark Stafford 33 wickets @16.03avg

3rd XI

Batting Award – Jayden Zanoni 340 runs @ 37.78 (2 x 50s)

Bowling Award – Peter Hatzoglou 24 wickets @15.25avg

4th XI

Batting Award – Raf Epstein 412 runs @ 45.78 (5 x 50s)

Bowling Award – Alex Ingleton 8 Wkts @ 17.5

5th XI
Batting Award – Frank Huynh 212 runs @42.40avg (1 x 50)

Bowling Award – Krishna Chandak 13 wickets @16.00avg

Scholars XI

Batting Award – Arun Sivasubramaniyan 228 runs @ 38.00avg

Bowling Award – Nouman Mirza 30 wickets @ 9.37avg

Womens XI
